Modelling People Figurines
| Level: Beginner & Intermediate
Learn how to make standing figurines. We will teach you how to create your figurines with internal support to enable them to stand and be securely attached to a cake. Ever had the head fall off a figurine? Discover the tips to make sure that never happens again! In this workshop you will make two figurines out of sugar modelling paste, one male and one female. Adult figurine measures approximately 15cm tall. Learn how to make the hair, face, smile, and personalise your figurines with real life details such as hair colour, hair style, clothing and accessories such as glasses. In making the head, we will teach you the trick of how to quickly and easily cover a styrofoam ball with a minimum of seams and creases. Once you learn how to make figurines, you will be able to delight all your family and friends with little sugar effigies of themselves, which never fails to delight and amaze. (Please note, due to time constraints, we will not be making bride and groom figurines in this workshop.) Lavish & Luxe Cupcakes
| Level: Beginner
The focus of this workshop is on glamour and elegance. Working with sugarpaste, modelling paste, edible lustre dusts and royal icing, you will learn how to master the techniques to create these stunning patterned cupcakes, suitable for weddings, engagements and birthdays. We share with you all the equipment used and even if you have never decorated cupcakes before, you will be amazed at what you can do. We will also teach you how to cover your cupcakes smoothly, from the ganache undercoat to cutting out a perfectly fitting circle. You will also learn how to pipe beads and borders using a writing nozzle. Note for continuing students: there is some overlap of the techniques taught in this class with those taught in the previous workshops 'Dreaming of Angels' and 'In Love with Laduree'. Tiffany Cupcakes

In this workshop, you will use edible sugar modelling paste to create mini Tiffany boxes and cute realistic Tiffany carrier bag, sugar dahlias and sugar keys with diamantes made from cake decorating silver glitter. Sugar Flowers for Beginners
| Level: Beginner. Suitable for those with no or little experience in flower making. Learn how to make sugar roses and gardenia. This is the perfect starting place for those new to making sugar flowers. You will learn all about the materials, tools, cutters and techniques to make sugar flowers (sized to suit cupcakes). Discover the tricks and techniques I use to bring a touch of realism to your flowers to give them the wow factor. You will also learn how to create stylish embossed effects on cupcakes, cover your own cupcakes with sugarpaste, attach the flowers and make accompanying leaves. (Please note: the gardenia taught in this workshop is the same as that taught in the Mini Handbag workshop.)

Animal Figurines

Level: Beginner & Intermediate This workshop is about how to create super cute animals from sugar modelling paste, suitable as toppers for jungle and carnival themed cupcakes and cakes.
To give you an indication of the size of figurines which will be made, the lion figurine (pictured) is approximately 6-7cm tall. Please note: we will be focusing on modelling figurines in this class and will not be covering cupcake decoration, so you will have more time to practise your modelling skills and simply concentrate on perfecting the animals. Cutie Pie Cupcakes
| Level: Beginner. This class is about making cute novelty animal characters. We teach you how to make these cute bears and bunnies from totally edible sugar modelling paste, perfect for baby showers or birthdays. As we will be creating 3D figurines, these designs will take longer than other more simple designs and we will focus on making 6 cupcakes, with an emphasis on quality rather than quantity. We will also show you how to cover your cupcakes with embossed sugarpaste, polka dots and stripes. You will have the opportunity to create personalised name plaques for your cupcakes.

Location: Hurstville Make lifelike and delicate sugar flowers in this hands-on class, suitable for those with some basic experience in flower making or working with flowerpaste. We will reveal exactly how we make our large sugar roses, both open (stamens visible) and closed (no stamens visible), you will get lots of hands-on practice at the different flowering making techniques such as frilling and wiring, and create your own gorgeous garden roses measuring approximately 4.5″ diameter.
